The Ebbw Fach Trail
"A walk from our industrial past -
To our environmentally friendly future."

A465 HOV Road Lay-By
The Ebbw Fach Trail and other places of interest
The source of the Ebbw Fach River is the overflow from the Lower Boat Pond to Beaufort Hill Woodlands, but when the Tredegar to Brynmawr section of the A465 Heads of the Valley dualling was completed in 2015, a large picnic area was constructed near the 'Highest Point on the road.
Walking and cycling paths were created nearby, and signposts showing the Ebbw Fach Trail and other local tourist attractions were erected.
